Thomas C. Flaherty started his practice in 1999 and joined Hennessy & Roach in 2002. He is a Partner in the Chicago, IL office. Tom earned a bachelor’s in science in Education from the University of Illinois, at Urban-Champaign in 1994. Tom also served in the Illinois Army National Guard from 1988 until 1994 as a Combat Engineer. He worked as a full-time substitute teacher in his hometown of Mendota, IL until 1996 when he began law school at Valparaiso University School of Law graduating with his J.D. in May of 1999. He was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois in November of 1999. He focuses 100% of his practice defending employers and carriers in workers' compensation litigation. Tom resides in the Western Suburbs with his wife Andrea, and their children Charlie and Claire.
