Morgan P. Dobersek-Oñate started her practice and began her legal career at H&R in 2024. Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts, double majoring in Sociology on the Criminal Justice Policy Track and Musical Theatre, from Creighton University in 2019. She was a member of Creighton’s Honors Program, Alpha Kapa Delta National Sociology Honors Society, Alpha Psi Omega Honors Theatre Fraternity, and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Morgan earned a Juris Doctor, with pro bono distinction, from Creighton University School of Law, where she was also honored with the 2022 Outstanding Service to the Community Award. During her time at Creighton Law School, she was a member of the Creighton Law Review, a tutor in the Creighton Legal Writing Center, an executive member of the Student Bar Association, and the President of the Women’s Law Student Association. Morgan is also a member of the PAWS Chicago Professional Board and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Morgan is admitted to the Illinois bar. She focuses 100% of her practice defending employers and carriers in workers’ compensation litigation.
Morgan resides in Chicago with her husband, Manny, and their cats, Saki and Wendy. When not working, you can find Morgan spending time with her friends and family, volunteering at PAWS Chicago, listening to true crime podcasts, and trying new restaurants!
