Monique spent the first six years of her legal career as an Assistant State's Attorney handling felony cases. Since 2023, she has focused her practice on the defense of workers' compensation claims in the State of Illinois. Monique earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elmhurst University. After college, she attended Northern Illinois University College of Law graduating magna cum laude in 2017. Monique lives in the western suburbs with her husband and two daughters.
