Michaela Webb began her legal career at Hennessy & Roach in 2022. She defends clients in both civil litigation and workers’ compensation claims. Michaela is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and is admitted to the Kansas Bar, the Missouri Bar, and the United States District Courts for both Missouri and Kansas. Prior to joining Hennessy & Roach, Michaela gained extensive experience working at a full-service family of financial companies, where she held key roles in both operations and accounting. Her responsibilities included managing payroll across multiple entities, overseeing client billing and collections, tracking commissions, and handling complex accounting for broker-dealer securities transactions requiring FINRA clearance. During her first year of law school, Michaela earned her Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and assumed leadership of an affiliated mortgage brokerage firm. In this role, she oversaw regulatory compliance, maintained critical contracts and institutional relationships, and originated residential mortgage loans. Michaela earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Washburn University. During her undergraduate studies, she co-founded the inaugural mock trial team at Hayden High School, successfully coaching the team to represent the state of Kansas at the National High School Mock Trial Tournament in its first year. Michaela went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, graduating with Dean’s Honors. While in law school, Michaela received two CALI Awards for earning the highest grade in Intellectual Property and Local Government Law. She also served as Assistant Coach for Washburn University's undergraduate mock trial team, mentoring students in trial advocacy and legal strategy. In her free time, Michaela enjoys spending time outdoors with her goldendoodle, Yeti.
