Maggie Lanham began her legal career at Hennessy & Roach, P.C. in 2026 as an Associate in the Workers' Compensation Department. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Missouri and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law, where she held several leadership and academic positions. Maggie served as President of the Student Bar Association after previously serving as a 2L Class Representative. She was also a member of the UMKC Law Review, serving as Program Editor for Volume 90 after participating as a Staff Member for Volume 89. Additionally, she served as a Board Member of the Oliver Club, a mental health awareness organization at UMKC School of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Maggie worked in a variety of legal roles at a workers' compensation defense firm in Kansas City, where she developed experience in legal research, writing, claim analysis, and litigation support. She also worked as a legal researcher and writer for a mediation and consulting business, where she authored articles summarizing developments in workers' compensation statutory and case law.
Maggie was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 2026 and focuses her practice solely on workers' compensation defense throughout the state of Illinois.
Outside of her practice, Maggie enjoys getting out on the golf course and exploring Chicago's restaurant scene.
