Lauren represents employers and insurance carriers in matters involving workers’ compensation claims throughout Illinois. Lauren’s practice includes various levels of the litigation process, ranging from initial investigation of claims and settlements, as well as trials and appeals.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. While at the University of Illinois, Lauren was a James Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa, and Vice President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Lauren also graduated with Departmental Distinction from the Psychology Honors Program, publishing her thesis on the validity of the Graduate Record Examination. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and with Bronze Tablet honors, a distinction for students graduating in the top 1% of their college. Lauren was also a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Lauren received her law degree from the Loyola University Law School in Chicago, Illinois. During her time at Loyola, she worked as Guardian ad litem in the Community Law Center Clinic, assisting children in custody disputes. Lauren also worked on various service projects, including a class visit to New Orleans, Louisiana to meet with the state legislature and discuss re-building the City after Hurricane Katrina. She also worked with Habitat for Humanity to help re-build homes.
Lauren currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with her husband, two sons, and dog Lucy.
