Attorney Jason Kolecke has been a part of Hennessy & Roach since 2003, earning partnership in 2010. For the past 20 years he has defended and protected employer’s rights at the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Commission. He has extensive litigation experience, including over 100 hearings at the IWCC, as well as numerous hearings before the Circuit Court of Illinois, the Appellate Court of Illinois and the Supreme Court of Illinois. His recent victory in the case of Stagen v. Illinois Worker’s Compensation Commission, set legal precedent in Illinois, allowing employers the ability to accommodate light duty restrictions via temporary transitional positions. Mr. Kolecke’s experience includes representation of a wide variety of employers, including the trucking industry, hospitality industry, medical field, as well as numerous other businesses throughout the state of Illinois. His dedication to his practice and his clients earned him the distinguished honor of being named “Attorney of the Year” in 2010 by Fresenius Medical Center.
