Emily K. Ward graduated from Marquette University Law School with her juris doctor, cum laude, and a certificate in litigation in the top 10% of her class in 2023. She is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and practices worker's compensation law. In law school, Emily participated in Marquette University Law School's Moot Court Association by competing as a semi-finalist in the 2022 Jenkins Moot Court Competition and serving as Associate Justice of Administration for the 2022-2023 Moot Court Board. Emily also participated in over 150 hours of volunteer work for the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic. Before law school, Emily graduated with university and departmental honors from the University of Iowa in 2020 with her Bachelor of Arts in English, Creative Writing, and Philosophy. Although still an avid Hawkeye sports fan, Emily is a Wisconsinite at heart. She currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and frequently visits with her family from Janesville, Wisconsin. Emily lives on the Milwaukee Riverfront with her fiancé Kyle, another Marquette Law graduate, and her dachshund mix, Relish, who loves getting treats and belly rubs from Hennessy & Roach's Milwaukee team.
