Ed holds the distinction of being H&R’s first associate, beginning his legal career in 1994. He is an Equity Partner of H&R and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Ed earned a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science, from Northern Illinois University in 1989. He earned a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan in 1993. Ed and his wife Catharine are proud affiliates to the Augustinian Order and serve on its Advancement Council. Ed and his wife have three children, now adults, Eddie, Leo, and Mary Helen. Ed is admitted to the Illinois Bar and focuses 100% of his practice defending employers and carriers in workers' compensation litigation.
