David is an Associate in Indianapolis, Indiana and joined the firm in the summer of 2023. Before joining Hennessy & Roach, David served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Marion County, Indiana for over ten years successfully resolving over 10,000 cases ranging from misdemeanors to gang-related crimes to murders completing over 40 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials and suppressions. Before becoming an attorney, David served in the world of politics and policy working for the City of Greencastle, in the halls of Congress as a staff member in the United States Senate, and as a federal lobbyist for the North American Steel Industry. David continues to serve his community outside of work as an Adjunct Faculty member of the O’Neill School at Indiana University, a member of the DePauw University Alumni Board of Directors, and through service to numerous local non-profit organizations in central Indiana. When not working or volunteering, David is an active and dedicated family-oriented father who enjoys the outdoors, continuing his passions in music and politics, and supporting his favorite sports teams.
