Born and raised in the Chicago area, I have had varied vocational experiences ranging from driving semi's, working in warehouses and selling industrial equipment to cooking in restaurants. Some of these are jobs engaged in by our Workers' Compensation claimants, so when they describe an unclear situation or use jargon I often can understand it because I've been there. I loved every minute of law school and found Constitutional Law especially interesting. While in law school I clerked in the Circuit Court of Cook Count division that hears appeals from the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, and even got to work on some key cases while I was there. After working there, a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney is all I wanted to be.
